I feel so honored by the descriptions of the Mizpah poetry. Though it was a challenge to write on a theme, have my poem convey it, bare my mind, heart and soul to reach the level of emotional bonding required, run it by someone when i usually just submit what has come to me, It was great to have a companion/sounding board, helper Indubala on this journey. Poems were forged out of these elements that wouldn't have come out another way.
What a great choice to have Chloe Pauline Hawes's poetry -- I look forward to reading the Wabi-Sabi series. Glad to see James G Brennan's' poetry in the innaugural series featured - beautiful theme and expressions of it. I'm a little sleepy after petting and talking to a cat and watering rows and rows of flowers on a hot day in "paradise" (wrting retreat/house and pet-sitting) walking the dog and such so I look forward to reading this piece from Indubula, and from Chloe, again! Thank you to "Paper Poetry" who gave more encouragement and loving pulses than I anticipated in this process.
