I hope this isn't too off-topic. I believe you have shown a crack in (some) weddings that could be written about in a collection. I mean one is not supposed to talk about unpleasantness at a wedding , right? What people felt at their weddings, before, during, and after. For example, my husband arranged our wedding time by astrology. But I was PMS that night. My best friend came in from New York--and I wanted to leave with her.
