Thank you for this interesting dissection of these seven myths about religion. It is a paradox, isn't it, that religion can actualy be quite mystical and freeing, and free creating one's own cultural-siritual beliefs can be quite dogmatic. But I think the rebellion against religion is not with the sacred texts and teachings but with how mommy and daddy practiced -- a kind of rebellion against parents, but also a wanting to explore and seek for an expanded depth and truth.
